Bonus Friday Fives!

1. What was your favorite breakfast cereal when you were a kid? favorite treat was Cookie Crisp, for obvious reasons. However, mostly my staple was Rice Krispies with a spoonful of sugar gently distibuted and carefully dunked.

2. What is the best toy/prize you ever got in a box of cereal or because of sending in UPC's? It was the baking soda powered submarine. It was a little plastic piece of crap. Somehow, though, with baking soda added to a little hollowed out cavity in the sub it was able to dive and rise and move. The other cool thing about it was of course we had baking powder in the fridge and freezer... so I had unlimited fuel supply.

3. How do you take your eggs (scrambled, over easy, egg beaters)? I don't like breakfast, and I don't like eggs. I don't like anything whatsoever about the morning. If I lived the rest of my life without ever encountering another morning again I would be a happy guy. I am nocturnal, and not by choice. That being said, scrambled with a dash of tobasco.

4. What is your favorite breakfast meat (bacon, ham, sausage)? Don't you get it, man? What's with the line of questioning here? I don't like breakfast. It is a stupid meal. The only place I like to eat in the morning is Burger King because they will sell me a hamburger before 10 am.

5. What is your favorite spot (local or chain restaurant) for breakfast and where is it located? There is this Jesus place called 'Great Beginnings' a few miles up that makes a fantastic breakfast. I have nothing but nice things to say about them and their service. OK, they are a little heavy on the Christian influence with their decor, but it's ok. I think it's cool they can express their faith in a postive and creative way. Religion would be a lot better if folks took their queues fom Great Beginnings.
