Friday Fives
1. If you could freeze time at the very second in your past that you wanted to LAST forever, so that you can hold that moment for eternity, what would that moment be?Together with my family this last Christmas. We were all together (which is rare as I live out of state) and all dressed up and had a great time.
2. Have you ever finished in LAST place, whether during a race, a contest, a competition, an exam, or something else?
Sure have buddy. Let's just call that the story of my life and move on. Perseverence and a good attitude will win in the end. At least, that is what my success coach tells me. He charges $800 an hour.
3. Who's the LAST person you talked with on the phone? E-mailed? Received an e-mail from? Hugged? Went out to lunch with? Thought about? Made something for? Made plans with? IM-ed?
probably my wife on almost all of those. Except of course for IM, which I think is stupid... and probably a bigger drain on corporate productivity that solitaire.
4. When's the LAST time that you did something nice just for yourself? What was it?
About every paycheck (which is every other week) I indulge myself by going to Best Buy and getting a CD or music DVD. I wish I could say something great like 'in honor of Black History Month, I am supporting only African American artists.' However, that isn't the case. I went out and bought a Big Head Todd DVD.
5. What do you think you'll be doing on the LAST day of this month (February 28)? If you could choose a month and have it LAST forever (in other words, it would be July all the time from now on), which month would you choose and why?
Last day of the month? I'll be scrambling at work getting payroll, monitors, and monthly coachings written up. Pick one month forever? May is good. The weather is warm and things are growing and sprouting and turning green again. Also, May holds the promise of summer and all the exciting things we are going to do.
